Uber Eats Alternatives 2026: Where Lieferando and Wolt Have More Deals

Uber Eats offers the cheapest subscription of any delivery service in Germany through Uber One. €4.99/month for everyone, €2.99 for students. That sounds appealing, but low fees don't help much when there aren't many deals. In four out of five cities, Uber Eats has the fewest offers. Berlin: 391 (Lieferando 646, Wolt 621). Hamburg: 121 (Lieferando 305, Wolt 218). Munich: 160 (Wolt 207, Lieferando 166). Frankfurt: 87 (Wolt 145, Lieferando 100). Only Cologne breaks the pattern.

Lieferando as an alternative: Market leader with the broadest selection

Lieferando is Germany's largest delivery service and offers the most deals in three cities: Berlin (646), Hamburg (305), and Cologne (155). Compared to Uber Eats, that means 65% more deals in Berlin and 150% more in Hamburg. Lieferando has been on the German market for years and has the highest restaurant density. The downside: discounted delivery is only available through Amazon Prime (€8.99/month). Without Prime, you pay full delivery fees per order.

Wolt as an alternative: Stronger than Uber Eats in four out of five cities

Wolt outperforms Uber Eats in Berlin (621 vs. 391), Hamburg (218 vs. 121), Munich (207 vs. 160), and Frankfurt (145 vs. 87). The difference in Frankfurt is stark: Wolt offers nearly double the deals. Only in Cologne does Wolt fall behind Uber Eats (91 vs. 126). Both platforms charge the same base subscription price: €4.99/month. Wolt has an edge though: Zalando Plus members get Wolt+ for free.

City by city: Where you should switch from Uber Eats

Berlin: Uber Eats (391) trails significantly. Lieferando (646) and Wolt (621) each offer over 50% more deals. Hamburg: With just 121 deals, Uber Eats is at its weakest here. Lieferando (305) offers nearly three times as many. Munich: Uber Eats (160) sits just below Lieferando (166), Wolt leads with 207. Cologne: The only city where Uber Eats (126) outperforms Wolt (91). Lieferando (155) still holds #1. Frankfurt: Uber Eats (87) trails far behind. Wolt (145) has 67% more deals.

Verdict: Uber Eats alone isn't enough in any city

Uber One is the cheapest subscription on the market, and the student tier is unbeatable. But on deals, Uber Eats falls behind almost everywhere. As a standalone ordering app, Uber Eats is too thin. As a complement to Lieferando or Wolt it works well, especially if you want to take advantage of the low subscription price. Compare the current deals from all three platforms on our site.
