Food Delivery Comparison 2026

Most food delivery comparisons online are opinion pieces from 2023 telling you which app has the prettiest interface. We compare differently: DealsDelivery searches Lieferando, Wolt and Uber Eats for current deals every day and shows you where you actually pay less. No gut feelings, no outdated screenshots. Just a current delivery service comparison with real numbers from over 3,500 deals across five German cities.

TL;DR

Which delivery service has the best deals?

Lieferando leads in Berlin and Hamburg (nearly tied with Wolt in Berlin). Munich and Frankfurt belong to Wolt. Cologne is a close race between Lieferando and Uber Eats. Average discounts sit around 40% everywhere.

Pick your city and see which delivery service has the best deals right now.

The three platforms at a glance

Lieferando is the biggest platform in most cities, but not automatically the best for deals. Berlin counts over 640 active offers, Hamburg around 300. There is no standalone subscription. What Lieferando calls "Lieferando Plus" is really just Amazon Prime with free delivery on Lieferando as a side perk.

Wolt has established itself as the deal leader in Munich and Frankfurt: around 200 offers in Munich, 145 in Frankfurt. Compare only by reach and you miss this. Wolt+ costs 4.99 EUR/month and gets you free delivery above a 12 EUR minimum order plus 40% off the service fee.

Writing off Uber Eats as a distant third doesn't hold up everywhere. Cologne's deal market tells a different story: Uber Eats is the number two platform there with roughly 125 deals, ahead of Wolt. Berlin regularly delivers discounts up to 60%. The others can't match that. Uber One costs 4.99 EUR/month, students pay 2.99 EUR.

Which subscription is worth it?

The answer is in your city. Frankfurt? Wolt has twice as many deals as the competition there. Wolt+ pays for itself quickly. In Hamburg Lieferando dominates, but you need Amazon Prime for free delivery there. Our subscription comparison breaks it down by city.

How we compare

DealsDelivery searches Lieferando, Wolt and Uber Eats for deals once a day. A deal is any offer with a concrete percentage discount on a restaurant or individual dishes. No coupon codes from dubious sources, no expired promotions. The numbers on this page reflect May 2026 data and are updated regularly.

What most comparisons miss

Wolt has more active deals than the market leader in two of Germany's five biggest cities. That doesn't match the picture most comparison articles paint. Our daily deal analysis confirms it week after week. If you only judge delivery services by market share and restaurant count, you miss where the actual discounts are.
